On May 25, the delegation of agricultural counsellors of EU member states visited the Institute of Environment and sustainable Development in Agriculture of CAAS's Shunyi Comprehensive Experimental Station and National Agricultural Science and Technology Innovation Park. Ms. Qian Yu, Deputy Director General of the Department of International Cooperation of CAAS, and Mr. Qingzhu Gao, Deputy Director General of the Institute, accompanied the delegation.

The delegation was warmly welcomed by Mr. Qingzhu Gao, who introduced the basic information of IEDA as well as research fields, scientific platform and international cooperation. The delegation visited the experimental facilities at the Shunyi station and the National Agricultural Science and Technology Innovation Park, and conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges with scientific teams on climate change impact and adaptation, soil carbon sequestration and GHG mitigation, emerging contaminants in agriculture and innovative technologies of greenhouse and plant factories.

The main responsible persons of Sino-German Agricultural Center(DCZ), Foreign Economic Cooperation Center of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs(FECC), relevant research teams of IEDA, Research Management and International Cooperation Division and Condition Assurance Division participate in communication.
